Europe - Swedish rock band formed in Stockholm in 1979 under the name Force vocalist Joey Tempest and guitarist John Norum. While many attribute the team to the glam-metal music, their style combines elements of hard rock and heavy metal. Europe has become world famous in the 80's. XX century, after the release of their third album The Final Countdown (1986), which became very successful commercially - in the U.S. alone has sold over three million copies. From 1986 to 1992, the band has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide, and thus took 4 th place in the list of the most successful projects from Sweden.
