Conductor, composer, jazz saxophonist.
He studied at the College of Music JAMU in Brno, then - at the conservatory in Kromerits. Playing the clarinet, piano, bass and drums.
In 1966, he participated in the International competition of young jazz performers them. F. Gould, won the II prize contest of them. B. Martin. In 1967 he was a member of the Open Competition in the College of Music in Geneva (Switzerland). In the same year I was awarded prize at the Prague Jazz Festival as the most talented young jazz performers.
Collaborated with the Prague Symphony Orchestra UAS - VN. From 1969 till 1985 served in a television program Carella Gott, as well as giving solo concerts.
In 1985 he became chief conductor of the orchestra
