Irie Maffia launches its "What's my name?!" new album in the great room of Godor Club Budapest on Friday 13th November 2009. After this party they'll perform a one-month-long tour of launching the album nationwide which includes Szekesfehervar, Sopron, Veszprem, Miskolc, Debrecen, Pecs and Szombathely. The song Slow Down Chale will have its new video in autumn this year.
The stuff of 14 songs made upon raprockreggae style features the star singers of the Maffia: Sena, Columbo and Busa Pista in addition everyone's fav Mc Kemon and the Jamaican singer Blessed.
The album What's My Name?! is also of a widerange style like the first one, but besides the feeling of the seventies the nowadays' modern sound had its impact on the music of the Maffia. The band known as reggae stylish of funk, rock and hiphop gang has put some electronic sound on the album. Some of the new songs have already debuted during the festivals in the summer, and it seems that one or two of these have become such a fav like the Hands In The Air that is included in the first album. The specialty of the new album is that Sena sings in Hungarian. The whole music stuff of the album is created by the band and all the works in the studio was performed by them.
