1992's Dream a Little Dream was the second album from Miami-based rockers Nuclear Valdez, a group that defies easy classification. The band had a unique and experimental mix of pop and rock that seemed to touch on hard rock, AOR, and pure pop without ever settling too long in any given direction. It made for an interesting album, but one that understandably never caught on in a world of hair metal, arena rock and gimmicky pop singles.
