Formed and fronted by U.K based musical mixologist/Musician/Producer Steve Spall (Guitar/Vocals), the band also features Paul beeching - Double Bass and Matt Wilson -Drums. Influences from 50's swing, alternative rock, trip-hop, blues, salsa and Latin styles help create The Violet Jive's atmospheric, alluring sound. Appealing to a wider variety of hepcats and music lovers in general. (somewhere between The Jungle Book, Portishead, Wes Montgomery & Soundgarden, perhaps!)
