Pink Floyd - 16CD Box Set (EMI Records 40th Anniversary Edition Vinyl Replica) (

Oh By The Way is a compilation box set by Pink Floyd released on 10 December 2007, by EMI Records in the United Kingdom and the following day in the United States through Capitol Records. The box set includes all fourteen of their standard studio albums, packaged as mini-vinyl replicas. In addition to the albums, and their extras, the set comes with a specially designed 40th Anniversary poster by Storm Thorgerson, featuring 40 Pink Floyd images. The title is a reference to a line in the song "Have a Cigar": "Oh by the way, which one's Pink?" The box cover consists of a concept similar to that of Ummagumma - one side of the box shows a picture of a room with various objects scattered about inside it, with pictures of the main band members (Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright) on the walls, whilst the other side shows the same room in different lighting, with the objects and pictures of band members rearranged.

The Beatles - Help! Studio Sessions: Back To Basics (HELTER SKELTER RECORDS)

This is the latest in the Back To Basics series, bringing together the best available sources for all of the existing studio sessions and rare mixes from the Help! era.
All sources are then remastered to repair drop outs (of which there were a lot in the Help! Sessions) and also phase and speed issues. Thought some of the Acetates are pretty poor quality - there is little I can do about this

Please note, commercially available mixes are not here, please buy the 2009 Remasters in Mono and Stereo for these, and also the Singles Box and US boxes. I urge people downloading this set to support The Beatles by buying available commercial releases (which I am sure most die-hard fans do!)
Who knows, maybe one day we will be treated to Anthology 4-6 and we can all delete these from our hard drives!

Also worth noting, the complete Monitor Mixes of Help! are not included here as, for the most part, they offer nothing new in terms of mix. Only the rare fragments from these monitor mixes have been selected for this set, these have been carefully edited with the best sources for the most complete recordings.
In short, you are missing nothing by not having these monitor mixes (I hope!)
